Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out the rules everyone must follow when using the MoveQuoteLocal platform. It applies to customers requesting quotes, verified Partners receiving leads, and any third party interacting with the site or APIs.

• Provide accurate move details, addresses and contact information.
• Only upload photos of property and items you are entitled to share.
• Do not submit fake, duplicate or test enquiries to manipulate prices or routing.
• Do not use the platform to harass, threaten or defraud Partners.
• Do not impersonate another person or business.

• Only use customer data for the purpose of providing the requested quote/service.
• Do not resell, redistribute or use customer data for unauthorised marketing.
• Contact customers professionally and within the times they have selected.
• Honour quoted prices in good faith; do not bait-and-switch on the day of the move.
• Maintain valid insurance and respond to claims/disputes promptly.

• Scraping, mass-downloading or harvesting data from the platform.
• Attempting to bypass authentication, rate limits, or RLS controls.
• Uploading malware, illegal content or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Reverse-engineering pricing, lead-scoring or AI components.
• Sending unsolicited marketing through the platform.

We may suspend, block or terminate accounts, applications, enquiries or API keys that breach this policy. Serious breaches may be reported to law enforcement or the ICO. We will, where possible, give notice and an opportunity to remedy minor breaches first.

To report misuse of the platform, email support@movequotelocal.co.uk with as much detail as possible (lead reference, partner name, timestamps).
