Upright pianos
Moved on a wheeled skid with two to three trained movers, wrapped in quilted blankets. Most upright moves are completed in 60–90 minutes.
Baby grand and concert grand
Legs and lyre are removed; the body is tilted onto a piano board on its straight side, strapped, and wheeled. Three to four crew minimum. Reassembly and tuning recommendation included by good specialists.
